'C' LANGUAGE HISTORY

Do u know what is the first computer language? This is very difficult to get knowledge from a book. But here, I am going to give you a lot of knowledge on computer language history.

In 1940, the first modern and electrically powered computer was invented. At that time,  the programmers faced a lot of problem because a computer works very slow and it has very few memory size. It forced the programmers to write Assembly language. At that time, some other languages were also developed which also faced the same problem.

In 1950, the first three programming language was created which are known as FORTRAN, LISP, COBOL. After this development, the programmers also invent some other languages and this time they upgrade the machine condition and did not face the speed or memory problem.

 Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson at Bell Labs between 1969 and 1973, first developed the programming language C. C is the most widely used programming language of all time. At 1980, a new language was developed name d as C with classes. But at 1983, it's name changed in C++. But, C++ was also influenced by C.

Do u know why this programming language is named as C? Because C language was also influenced by a programming language BCPL. Full form of BCPL is basic computer programming language.The language was called as 'B'. In 1960, the Cambridge University developed this language first and gave the name B.The name 'C' is given because its feature was derived from this programming language 'B'. It is very funny that we can guess that, someday two other programming language may come named as 'P' or 'L'.

 C language was designed for Unix operating system, today this C language has a broad use in Linux operating system. C was designed for implementing system software.
